Homeschool High School Programs (Grades 7th–12th)  Core Academics, Science Labs, Arts, and Physical Education

Ready to Build a Strong High School Experience?

Whether your student needs full academic structure, support in a few core subjects, or hands-on science labs, our hybrid high school program is designed to meet families where they are.

We partner with homeschool families to provide high-quality instruction, consistent academic support, and a flexible schedule that still keeps students on track for graduation and beyond.

If you’re exploring options for the upcoming school year, we’d love to connect with you and help you find the right fit for your student.

Option 1: Core High school Member

Our Core High School program is designed to provide strong academic structure while still supporting the flexibility of homeschool learning.

Students attend classes two (or three) days per week for their core instruction. On off days, families continue homeschooling at home, allowing for flexibility while maintaining academic consistency and accountability.

Math: Students progress through a rotating sequence of high school math courses, ensuring all graduation requirements are met over their high school years.

Science: Hands-on, teacher-led science courses with engaging instruction and lab-based learning opportunities.

History: Comprehensive history courses that build critical thinking and a strong understanding of world and American history.

Language Arts: Students may choose between Classical or Standard ELA pathways based on their learning style and goals.

Enrichment: Music, art, and physical education round out a well-balanced academic experience.

Option 2: Third-Day Add-On (Core Members)

**NEW for the 2026-2027 school year
For families already enrolled in our Core program, we offer an optional third academic day designed to provide additional support and structure.

This add-on is on Thursdays, and  all FEC core high school courses will be taught from the syllabus as part of this third day option.

It is ideal for students who benefit from extra guidance, consistent weekly structure, or additional time to stay on track with assignments.

Option 3: Science Lab Program

Our Science Lab Program gives students a hands-on, engaging science experience that goes beyond textbooks and worksheets.

Students participate in regular experiments that bring scientific concepts to life and deepen understanding through real application.

Each lab includes guided instruction and structured lab reports that support academic credit and help build strong high school transcripts.

Designed with college preparation in mind, this program helps students develop critical thinking, scientific writing skills, and real laboratory experience that prepares them for future science coursework and post-secondary study.

Option 4: A-la-carte Classes

A-La-Carte Classes

Our A-La-Carte Class option allows families to select individual courses based on their student’s specific needs.

This flexible model is ideal for students who may only need support in a particular subject such as Math, Science, or another core area, without enrolling in a full class schedule.

Families can mix and match courses to create a personalized academic plan that fits their homeschool structure while still benefiting from teacher-led instruction, accountability, and subject-specific support.
