The Family Enrichment Center (FEC) was founded to serve the local homeschooling community with excellence, passion, and purpose. Drawing on nearly three decades of homeschooling experience, September McCarthy and her oldest daughter, Sarah Bedzyk, envisioned a place where families could find academic support, creative opportunities, and true community.
September’s journey as a homeschooling mom of ten children has shaped her mission to equip and encourage other families. Through her books, such as ‘Hope for Your Homeschool’, and speaking engagements at conferences nationwide, she shares practical advice and biblical inspiration for raising and educating children.
Sarah, a homeschool graduate herself, is now Co-Director and serves as Director of Operations and Business, combining her firsthand homeschooling experience with professional expertise to ensure FEC’s programs are effective, welcoming, and innovative.
What started as a small vision has grown into a thriving center with over 160 students from PreK through 12th grade. Today, FEC is a vibrant hub of learning, connection, and growth for families at every stage of their homeschooling journey.
